They are not all about the status quo.
"We [as leadership professionals] are in a unique position in our nation's history to become more and more relevant as the years progress. It is very much our duty to promote excellence in leadership and raise the expectations of the community (from elected officials, etc.) and to make sure the leaders know each other, know the community's history and are able to function well together", said Sarah when asked what she sees on the horizon for leadership programs. Sarah see's tremendous opportunity to prove our relevance (as leadership organizations) and make a great impact in our community, states and nation. "Communities are the building blocks. Kentucky-Southern Indiana Regional Conference a success!

Louisville Leadership Center and Leadership Southern Indiana join forces to host conference

Round Table Discussion a hit at conference
|
Over sixty leadership professionals gathered in Louisville, Kentucky in October for the Beyond Boundaries: Building Regional Leadership Connections. The welcome reception hosted/sponsored by Leadership Southern Indiana held a unique opportunity for leadership professionals to network and meet each other before the one-day conference began the following day. The workshops were educational and offered the attendees a chance to discuss the best practices available for their leadership programs. Keynote luncheon speaker, Joe Pusateri, was a highlight with both an inspiring and moving presentation. Joe depicts a living example of what a true community leader should be. Many thanks to the Leadership Louisville Center and Leadership Southern Indiana for being great hosts. |
