DISTINGUISHED LEADERS and PRECEPTOR AWARD

Is there a graduate of your leadership program that deserves to be recognized as a distinguished leader?  Someone who has accomplished significant and notable contributions for the betterment of their community?   The Distinguished Leader Award is designed to acknowledge such a leader!  For more information on how to nominate a leadership graduate click here.

The Preceptor Award is an opportunity to honor the Executive Director or Program Coordinator.  This award recognizes the cornerstone of successful leadership development efforts made by individuals with a level of expertise making them capable of lending guidance to others.  For more information click here.

ALP will be hosting an evening event to recognize both the Distinguished Leader and the Preceptor awardees during the annual leadership conference, June 9, 2011.  Deadline to submit your nomination is April 15, 2011.  So hurry and submit your nomination application now!  ALP awards

ANNUAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The annual leadership conference will be held June 9-10th in Dallas, Texas at the Westin Galleria Hotel.  ALP is collaborating with the Greenleaf Center for Servant leadership to bring members an avenue to network, attend educational workshops and share best practices!  Don't miss this opportunity to refresh your leadership skills and gather information to enhance your leadership program.  For information about the conference click the "green leaf" below.  Registrations are filling up!

ALP members will receive a significant savings off the regular registration fees to the conference. The discount rate of $550 includes the awards recognition event and the Greenleaf closing banquet on Friday night.  For more information on the annual Greenleaf Center conference, schedule, workshops, hotel accommodations or to register for the conference, click the "green leaf".

The Greenleaf conference has numerous workshops that are applicable for community leadership.  In addition, ALP will be presenting four workshops that are specifically for our members:  Alumni Engagement, Program Relevancy, Program Quality, and Building Revenue Streams.   These activities will supplement the strong line-up of presenters and keynotes on servant and community leadership already slated for the conference. For more info see the Conference Page on the Greenleaf website. Kevin Stotts of Leadership Grand Rapids, MI and Dick Hammond of Leadership on the Move, TX are heading up the ALP presence at the Greenleaf International Conference.
